1percentclubs was founded by Alex ferneld, in 2002. Over the years, the story of Branlink has been shaped and written by a constant series of developments. In the early days, our focus lay in investing in residential property. As time went by, we developed into an investment manager operating in every corner of America, Canada and Europe, delivering a whole host of real estate investment services for a variety of institutional investors.
Since it was founded in 2002, 1percentclubs has succeeded in evolving into a leading pan-American and pan-European real estate investment manager. With assets under management of over $47 billion, we are considered one of the top addresses in America and Europe for real assets. The market will remain dynamic in the future and it is clear from current property trends that if anything, the requirements of our customers will become increasingly challenging.

In 2016, we opened up our funds business to private investors, with more than 5000 private investors, amounting to an investment volume of over $1.6 billion. Every private investor fund we have launched until now has either hit or exceeded targeted yields. For some years now, 1percentclubs has also been placing investments in emerging technology. At first, we focused on taking stakes in proptech start-ups, but we soon shifted emphasis and starting making larger strategic investments in innovative technology firms such as EVANA, Cognotekt, control.IT and BrickVest. Our goal as a company is to drive digital transformation in the industry as a pioneer of innovation.
We also invested heavily on senior housing. 1percentclubs owns senior housing communities located in the United States, Canada and the Europe, providing high quality residential environments for 60,000+ seniors living in dignity. Representing approximately quarter of the Company’s net operating income (NOI), our senior housing portfolio is well-positioned to capture the powerful senior housing upside.
